About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and diligent Insurance Policy Administrator to join their team in Edinburgh . This role is crucial for the smooth operation of their policy administration services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing customer policies. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks related to policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. This hybrid position allows for a balanced approach to work, combining office-based collaboration in Edinburgh with the flexibility of remote work. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service for policyholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policy applications, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
- Verify policy information and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Handle policy cancellations and midterm adjustments as per client requests and company procedures.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding policy details and administrative processes.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date policyholder records in the administration system.
- Liaise with underwriting and claims departments to resolve policy-related queries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in insurance policy administration or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in using insurance administration software and standard office productivity tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team .
