About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Development Manager to spearhead the creation and enhancement of insurance products in their Cardiff office. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire lifecycle of insurance product development, from concept generation to market launch and ongoing management.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for new insurance products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product features, pricing strategies, and distribution plans.
- Ensure all developed products comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal risk frameworks.
- Develop and execute product launch plans, including marketing collateral and sales training materials.
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and implement necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Substantial experience (5+ years) in insurance product management or development.
- Strong understanding of the insurance market, including various lines of business and market trends.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with product lifecycle management methodologies is essential.
