About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Development Manager to lead the creation and enhancement of new insurance products in Bradford . This role is critical for driving market share and meeting evolving customer needs through cutting-edge product offerings. You will work collaboratively with actuarial, marketing, sales, and compliance teams to design, launch, and manage a profitable portfolio of insurance products. This hybrid position requires you to be present in our Bradford office for key collaborative sessions while offering flexibility for remote work, ensuring optimal engagement and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for new insurance products, from concept to launch.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and define product requirements.
- Collaborate with actuarial teams to develop pricing strategies and financial models.
- Ensure all new products comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Develop product marketing and sales strategies in conjunction with the marketing and sales departments.
- Monitor product performance, gathering feedback to drive iterative improvements and future product enhancements.
Requirements
- Significant experience in insurance product development or management, with a strong understanding of the insurance lifecycle.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing insurance products.
- Excellent understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory frameworks within the insurance sector.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII) are highly desirable.
