About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and innovative Insurance Product Development Manager to lead the creation and enhancement of their insurance product portfolio. Working in a fully remote capacity, you will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, designing new insurance products, and refining existing offerings to meet evolving customer needs and regulatory landscapes. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance market, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams, including actuarial, marketing, legal, and operations. You will drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring competitiveness and profitability, and will be a key player in shaping the future of our client's offerings, operating remotely from anywhere in the UK, with proximity to Oxford being an advantage for occasional team meetups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and launch of new insurance products and features.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product gaps and opportunities.
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and pricing teams to define product terms, conditions, and pricing strategies.
- Develop product documentation, including policy wordings and regulatory filings.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and training materials.
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and implement improvements to existing products.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in insurance product development or management.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
