About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and innovative Insurance Product Development Manager to lead the creation and enhancement of their insurance product portfolio in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for market research, competitor analysis, and conceptualizing new insurance products that meet evolving customer needs and market opportunities. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration to bring successful products to market. You will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our client's offerings within the competitive insurance landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and feasibility studies to launch and post-launch review.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities for new insurance products.
- Define product strategy, roadmaps, features, and specifications in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop business cases and financial models to support new product initiatives and ensure commercial viability.
- Work closely with legal, compliance, actuarial, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product implementation and rollout.
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing products.
Requirements
- Significant experience in insurance product development or management, preferably within the UK market.
- Strong understanding of the insurance value chain, product lifecycle, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent strategic thinking, market analysis, and business planning skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
