Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk assessment models and methodologies to identify key risk exposures across various insurance lines.
- Analyse large datasets to quantify potential financial impacts of identified risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices related to risk management in the insurance sector.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, translating complex data into clear insights.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and actuarial departments to integrate risk management principles into business operations.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the resilience of the company's risk profile.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a risk analysis, actuarial, or similar quantitative role, ideally within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and modelling skills, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- In-depth understanding of risk management frameworks, such as Solvency II, and insurance regulations.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
- A degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance.
- Experience working within a hybrid work model and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
