Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of insurance risks, including market, credit, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Develop and maintain risk models, frameworks, and reporting tools to monitor key risk indicators.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management and relevant departments on risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management.
- Monitor emerging risks and trends within the insurance industry and global markets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal risk policies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk analysis, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry .
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and insurance products .
- Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the UK financial sector.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, comfortable communicating complex data to diverse audiences in a remote setting .
