Our client is looking for a sharp and analytical Insurance Risk Analyst to join their expanding team in Brighton . In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and quantifying potential risks across the company's insurance operations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk assessment frameworks and methodologies.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential risk exposures.
- Quantify the financial impact of identified risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to senior management and relevant committees.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and track the effectiveness of risk management initiatives.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to embed risk management practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a risk analysis or related role, preferably in insurance.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in statistical modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python).
- Good understanding of insurance products, markets, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence decision-making.
- Relevant degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
