A dynamic commercial law firm in Nottingham is seeking an astute Intellectual Property Lawyer to join its thriving practice. This role involves advising clients on a wide range of IP matters, including trademarks, patents, copyright, and design rights. You will manage IP portfolios, draft licensing agreements, and represent clients in IP disputes. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the protection, registration, and enforcement of intellectual property rights .
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licenses, assignments, and NDAs.
• Manage trademark and patent portfolios for domestic and international clients.
• Represent clients in IP litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions and commercial agreements.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in intellectual property law .
• Strong understanding of trademark, patent, copyright, and design law in the UK and EU.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating IP contracts.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships effectively and provide commercially astute advice.
