About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Lawyer to join their innovative team in Reading . You will handle a diverse range of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyright, designs, and trade secrets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, such as licensing, assignment, and collaboration agreements.
• Manage IP portfolios, including trademark and patent registrations and oppositions.
• Represent clients in IP disputes, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Conduct IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investments.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in intellectual property law.
• Demonstrated expertise in IP commercialisation, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
• Strong understanding of UK and international IP law and practice.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide strategic IP advice.
