Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on IP strategy, registration, and portfolio management (patents, trademarks, copyright, designs).
- Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing, collaboration, and R&D agreements.
- Handle IP disputes, including infringement and validity challenges, in relevant forums.
- Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions and commercial agreements.
- Provide guidance on emerging areas of IP law and technology.
- Liaise with patent and trademark attorneys and other IP professionals.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in intellectual property law .
- Proficiency in advising on IP protection, exploitation, and enforcement.
- Strong understanding of patent, trademark, copyright, and design law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills.
- Ability to manage a varied IP caseload within a hybrid work structure.
