About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Intellectual Property Solicitor to join their innovative legal team in the vibrant city of Brighton . This role focuses on advising clients across various sectors on the protection, exploitation, and enforcement of their intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and design rights. You will be an integral part of a forward-thinking practice, helping clients navigate the complexities of IP law in a dynamic market. The position offers a hybrid working model, blending office-based collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, including registration, licensing, and enforcement.
• Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, such as licensing, assignment, and collaboration agreements.
• Manage trademark and patent portfolios for clients.
• Represent clients in IP disputes, including infringement and validity actions.
• Conduct IP due diligence for commercial transactions.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' experience in intellectual property law.
• Strong understanding of UK and international IP legislation and practice.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating IP contracts.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment, serving the Brighton region.
