About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Intellectual Property Solicitor to join their thriving practice in Liverpool . This role is key to advising clients across a range of industries on the protection, enforcement, and commercialization of their intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs. You will manage a diverse caseload, providing strategic legal counsel on IP-related disputes, licensing agreements, and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on all aspects of intellectual property law , including patents, trademarks, copyright, and designs.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on IP licensing, assignment, and co-existence agreements.
• Manage and resolve IP disputes, including infringement and passing-off actions.
• Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions and restructurings.
• Assist clients with the registration and protection of their IP rights globally.
• Provide strategic advice on IP portfolio management and commercialization strategies.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Intellectual Property Law .
• Strong understanding of patent, trademark, copyright, and design law, particularly within the UK and EU.
• Experience in IP litigation and dispute resolution.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex IP agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills, comfortable with hybrid working.
