Interim Finance Lead: Budget Recovery & Transformation

Basildon Borough Council is recruiting an Interim Strategic Finance Lead to drive a rapid financial improvement programme over 3 months, four days per week, with a minimum office presence in Basildon.

You will shape budget planning, MTFS, governance, and delivery of commercial reviews, investment opportunities and organisational change. This senior role requires strategic finance leadership, change management and close work with senior stakeholders.
