Interim Financial Controller

Division of a Manufacturing Group based in Ryde, Isle of Wight, has an opportunity for an experienced, hands on interim Financial Controller to undertake responsibility for the day to day financial management of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly accounts including balance sheet reconciliations to incorporating stock, fixed assets, accruals and prepaymentsPreparation of annual financial statements and all statutory returns including VATSupport the annual budgeting process working with key stakeholders to understand financial costs and performance through monthly reforecastingWork closely with the Managing Director through the provision of effective and meaningful analysis on performance and costs to enable strategic business decision makingManage and support Finance team in their daily duties

Suitable Candidate

• Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a proven track record of successfully undertaking the hands-on financial management of an SMEStrong communication skills will be essential to undertake the role successfully
