Interim Financial Controller

Acuity Associates is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a well-established London law firm at an important point of change within its finance function.

Working closely with one of our experienced fractional CFOs, you’ll help strengthen the day-to-day finance operation and put in place the financial disciplines and reporting the business needs going forward.

The initial priorities will include improving the quality of the management accounts, balance sheet and P&L reporting, budgeting and forecasting, strengthening controls and processes, and helping move the business towards a more robust finance environment.

We’re looking for someone who is qualified or part-qualified, technically strong, hands‑on and comfortable walking into a finance function where there is a significant amount to improve. Previous experience within a law firm or legal services environment would be particularly valuable.

This is an interim assignment with an immediate start, with a genuine opportunity to become a permanent appointment.
