They are now looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their design team in London. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least two years' experience in building services to take on more responsibility, lead the electrical design on smaller projects under supervision, and continue developing towards chartered status.

Intermediate Electrical Engineer Job Overview:

The successful candidate will work on the production of building services design information including sketches, drawings, calculations, and technical schedules. xwwtmva They will be competent in 2D AutoCAD and have experience of 3D modelling using REVIT, and will be capable of carrying out technical electrical calculations, analysing energy profiles, and taking responsibility for detailed design such as system schematics and equipment sizing.

The role will include:

• Carrying out electrical load calculations, containment sizing, equipment sizing, circuit protection analysis and energy profiles with minimal supervision
• Fire alarm design, IT structured cabling design, lighting control strategies and security systems concept strategies
• Low carbon technologies design and sizing, and energy generation/consumption analysis
• Producing design information such as sketches, drawings and technical schedules
• Liaising with equipment manufacturers and utility suppliers on technical equipment selections and utility applications
• Coordinating the design with the external design team
• Attending site visits and liaising with contracto
