Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Internal Sales Administrator to join a well-established business based in Southam. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a busy office environment and providing key support across sales and customer service functions.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive a high level of service while supporting the sales team with quotations, order processing, administration and day-to-day coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Prepare and issue customer quotations, ensuring all information is accurate and communicated promptly.
- Process sales orders, invoices and dispatch documentation efficiently.
- Monitor customer orders and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems as required.
- Follow up quotations and support sales activities to maximise opportunities.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, product availability and delivery timescales.
- Manage returns and resolve customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Produce relevant documentation including certificates, reports and customer correspondence.
- Support wider administrative and operational functions across the business.
- Assist with marketing activities, exhibitions and website updates where required.
- Provide cover and support for colleagues during periods of absence.
About You
- Previous experience within a Sales Administration, Internal Sales, Customer Service or Commercial Support role.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience using ERP, CRM or accountancy systems would be advantageous.
- A proactive and flexible approach with a willingness to learn.
