Intervention Teaching Assistant - Part Time - Wigan - September 2026 Start

A primary school in Wigan is looking for a Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted interventions in English and Maths.

This is a part-time role focused on supporting pupils who need additional help.

The role includes:

• Delivering small group interventions
• Supporting literacy and numeracy development
• Tracking and monitoring pupil progress
• Working closely with teachers

The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong English and Maths skills
• Have experience supporting interventions
• Be organised and proactive
• Be confident working independently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
