Interventions Tutor
Help Learners Close Gaps and Rebuild Confidence
We're looking for Interventions Tutors to support children and young people across Wiltshire through targeted 1:1 educational support.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll help learners who require additional intervention to overcome barriers to education, strengthen core skills, and improve engagement with learning. Many of the students we support benefit from a personalised approach that focuses on their individual strengths, needs, and educational goals.
This role is ideal for education professionals who enjoy delivering focused support and seeing the direct impact their work has on a student's progress.
Location: Wiltshire
Start Date: September
Hours: Flexible
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Type: 1:1 Intervention Support
Requirements
Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
Ability to deliver targeted interventions tailored to individual needs
Experience supporting children and young people with SEND is desirable
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Patient, organised, and adaptable approach
Ability to identify learning gaps and support progress
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within Wiltshire

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
ADHD
Anxiety and school avoidance
EHCPs and additional educational needs
Gaps in learning due to disrupted educationEach intervention programme is tailored to the individual, requiring creativity, flexibility, and a commitment to helping learners achieve positive outcomes.
