About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join their team in Glasgow . This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory data across all company locations. You will be responsible for implementing robust inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies. Working within a hybrid model, you will balance on-site responsibilities with remote analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, including potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock movement and storage.
- Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements and update records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related role.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (IMS) and ERP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
