Inventory Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other relevant databases.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimise stock shrinkage, damage, and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to manage stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Generate regular inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using WMS software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
