Inventory Control Specialist

About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join their expanding operations team based in Leeds . This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's stock levels across multiple locations. You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting audits, and analyzing stock data to identify trends and prevent discrepancies. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while playing a key part in optimizing the company's supply chain efficiency and minimizing losses due to stock issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast stock needs and optimize stock levels.
• Manage the WMS (Warehouse Management System) to ensure data integrity and efficient stock tracking.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure smooth stock flow and availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory control , stock management, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams.
