About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Controller to manage stock levels and ensure the accuracy of inventory records at their Bradford facility. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency by preventing stockouts and minimizing excess inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular stocktakes, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to improve inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stocktakes to verify inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to manage stock flow effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in inventory control , stock management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel .
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of stocktaking procedures and inventory management principles.
