About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Inventory Controller to manage stock levels and ensure accuracy for their retail operations in Plymouth . This role is fundamental to the efficiency of the business, involving the precise tracking of goods from receipt to sale. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and implementing procedures to safeguard stock. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records.
• Oversee the receiving and dispatch of goods, verifying quantities and quality.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to prevent loss and damage.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
