About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and accomplished Investment Banker to join their prestigious team based in Birmingham . This hybrid role offers the opportunity to engage in high-stakes financial transactions, providing expert advice on mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financial planning for a diverse client base. You will work on complex deals, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence in the financial services sector. The role requires a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing for focused individual work and essential team synergy in the heart of the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

Support senior bankers in executing mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions.
Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and pitch books for client presentations.
Conduct due diligence, market research, and industry analysis for potential deals.
Manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for financial advisory services.
Coordinate with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors throughout the transaction process.
Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments impacting investment banking.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Microsoft PowerPoint .
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in complex financial data.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
