About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for a driven and accomplished Investment Banking Associate to join their prestigious team based in Birmingham . This role is integral to executing complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and strategic advisory services for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. You will play a critical role in deal execution, financial modeling, valuation, and client relationship management, working collaboratively with senior bankers and clients to achieve successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of investment banking transactions, including M&A, IPOs, and debt/equity offerings.
• Develop intricate financial models for valuation, accretion/dilution analysis, and scenario planning.
• Prepare comprehensive marketing materials, including pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and management presentations.
• Conduct thorough industry research, company analysis, and due diligence on potential clients and transactions.
• Manage deal processes, coordinate with clients and other advisors, and support senior bankers in client meetings.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; CFA designation is a plus.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related fields.
• Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate finance principles, and transaction processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
