About the Role
Our client is seeking a driven Investment Banking Associate to join their esteemed team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparation of client materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, industry contacts, and other advisors.
- Conduct extensive financial analysis and market research to support deal origination and execution.
- Prepare pitch books, confidential information memorandums, and other client-facing documents.
- Manage junior team members and oversee the quality of their work.
- Stay abreast of market trends and industry developments within the investment banking sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills .
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
