Investment Banking Associate

About the Role

Our client, a prestigious firm, is seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Associate to join their growing team in Birmingham . This role is critical in supporting deal execution, client advisory services, and business development initiatives within the M&A and capital markets space. You will play an integral part in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparing client presentations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and a drive to succeed in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment, contributing to the firm's continued success in the UK financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of M&A transactions, debt, and equity financings.
• Develop comprehensive financial models, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis.
• Prepare client pitch books, management presentations, and transaction-related documents.
• Conduct due diligence, market research, and industry analysis for potential deals.
• Manage deal processes, coordinate with clients and other advisors, and ensure timely execution.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Expertise in financial modeling , valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
