About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join their growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role involves supporting senior bankers in executing a wide range of M&A, capital markets, and advisory transactions. You will play a key role in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and client presentation preparation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analyses.
• Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and marketing materials for transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on companies and markets.
• Assist in deal execution, including transaction structuring and negotiation support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and deal intermediaries.
• Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
