Investment Banking – EMEA Media and Communications Advisory – Associate – London

Overview

As an Associate in the EMEA Media & Communications Advisory group, you will help drive and execute M&A and capital markets transactions for leading media, telecoms, and digital infrastructure clients. You will lead execution efforts, coordinating with analysts and associates, while engaging with senior client executives to discuss strategic options. You’ll collaborate across product teams and geographies, receiving mentoring and development opportunities. This role offers exposure to high-impact advisory work within a collaborative, inclusive culture that values client relationships and rigorous analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed valuation analyses (DCF, trading/comparables, transaction comparables, LBO)
• Support daily deal execution and project management for clients
• Conduct combination, structuring, and other financial analyses
• Prepare presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, memoranda, and other client-facing materials
• Interact with senior team members and client management to execute transactions and discuss strategic options
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Analysts

Key requirements

• Proven Investment Banking or leading Corporate Finance experience, ideally in Media, Telecoms, and/or digital infrastructure sectors
• Professional, mature client interaction
• Proficient financial modelling/valuation and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team-oriented with strong time management and attention to detail
• Highly motivated, adaptable, capable of independent project management
