Job Description
Software Private Equity – Senior Associate / Investment Manager | London
We’re partnering with a growing, software-focused private equity fund in London investing in market-leading B2B software and tech-enabled businesses across Europe. The lean, high-performing team partners closely with management teams to drive scale, strategic M&A, and technological transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the evaluation, financial modelling, and end-to-end execution of software buyout and growth transactions
- Build and manage complex LBO models, SaaS unit economics analyses, and Investment Committee materials
- Manage full-scope commercial, technical, and financial due diligence alongside advisors and founders
- Work actively with portfolio companies on value-creation initiatives, bolt-on acquisitions, and exit preparation
Requirements:
- 3–6 years’ total experience, with mandatory direct software/tech investing experience at another PE or growth equity fund (Note: Prior buyside experience is strictly required; pure investment banking profiles will not be considered)
- Genuine passion for, and strong curiosity about, artificial intelligence (AI) and its evolving impact on enterprise software
- Exceptional financial modelling (LBO) skills and deep fluency in software metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC payback, cohort retention)
- Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with the confidence to take high ownership in a lean, fast-paced team
