iOS Engineer

24 month contract

Inside IR35 – Paying up to £50 per hour via umbrella.

Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office in London or Sussex

We are seeking an experienced, iOS Engineer to work on mobile applications that are used by tens of millions of users around the world.

You will need the following experience:

• Building iOS applications

• Writing and deleting code

• Build tools like Tuist, Xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI

• Continuous integration patterns

• Finding and fixing bugs

• Functional coding patterns

• Performance analysis and optimization

• Dealing with Objective-C legacy code

• Unit and integration testing

• Open-source technologies and communities

• Working in a globally distributed team

• Self-starting with strong time management skills

• Integrating with bespoke, lovingly handcrafted backend services from the days of yore

• Designing solutions for open-ended problems

Experience working with:

• UIKit

• MVVM

• REST APIs

• RAML API documentation

• Danger

• uFeatures Architecture

• Swift

• Objective-C (in decreasing quantities)

• GitHub Actions

• CircleCI

• XCTest / XCUITest

• Tuist
