IT Helpdesk Support Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support requests logged through the helpdesk system and via direct communication.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and other IT hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues for end-users.
• Provide support for network connectivity and basic server administration tasks.
• Assist with user account management and access permissions.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately in the IT knowledge base.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting common connectivity issues.
• Experience with IT support ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively within a hybrid model, commuting to Nottingham as required.
