IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically adept IT Project Manager to join their expanding IT department in Bradford . This role is vital for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology-driven projects, including software implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure projects meet strategic goals, timelines, and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of IT projects , from initiation through to deployment and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, resources, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate potential disruptions.
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of contracted services and products.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential challenges to management and relevant parties.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , successfully delivering technology projects.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or ITIL certification is advantageous.
