IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Coventry, West Midlands, UK . This role is critical for the successful implementation and delivery of various IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of IT project management, from initial planning and execution to monitoring, controlling, and closing. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, ensuring that all IT projects meet their objectives effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire and allocate necessary resources for project execution.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedules, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules to track progress.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in IT project management or similar role.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent client-facing and internal client communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management software .
• Familiarity with both Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
