About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join their expanding technology division in Belfast . This role is crucial for driving the successful implementation of IT projects, from system upgrades to software development initiatives. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects meet strategic objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional IT teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Liaise with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Ensure projects adhere to IT governance standards, security policies, and quality assurance best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Project Management , with a strong understanding of the IT landscape.
- Proven experience managing software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects and/or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Project+, PMP, PRINCE2) are highly advantageous.
