About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to join their technology division, working remotely to manage and deliver a portfolio of IT projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution and closure, ensuring that all IT initiatives are completed successfully, on time, and within budget. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical understanding, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage remote teams and stakeholders across different locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans , defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication among remote project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to established IT project management methodologies and best practices.
- Monitor project progress, manage changes, and provide regular, detailed status reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management , with a strong focus on software development and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing remote project teams and distributed stakeholders effectively.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies .
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or CSM certification is advantageous.
