IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager to join their thriving team in Coventry, West Midlands . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure, working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical understanding and excellent leadership skills to drive successful project outcomes in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget management for IT projects .
• Manage and coordinate the efforts of internal IT staff and third-party contractors or consultants.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure all projects are documented, including user guides, technical documentation, and project closure reports.
• Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , with a minimum of 4 years managing technology-focused projects.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and network technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Coventry area for an office-based role.
