IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to join their team in Coventry . This role involves managing a portfolio of IT projects, from initial scoping through to successful implementation and handover, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to drive projects forward in a collaborative, hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of various IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource estimates, and budgets, closely monitoring progress against milestones.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and end-users, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring service level agreements are adhered to.
• Facilitate effective communication between project teams and business stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , managing complex technology projects.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, with experience in both Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable in a hybrid environment.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and system integration projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
