About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and technically inclined IT Support Apprentice to join their team in Manchester . This role is perfect for someone looking to gain practical experience in IT infrastructure and user support within a busy office environment. You will be the first point of contact for technical queries, providing essential support to staff. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Document IT issues, resolutions, and procedures effectively.
• Assist with IT inventory management and procurement of IT equipment.

Requirements

• A strong interest in Information Technology and a desire to learn about IT support.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common software applications.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and commit to the apprenticeship program.
