About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join their technology team in Liverpool . This role involves providing essential technical support to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, and providing user assistance. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Respond to IT support requests from users, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to end-users on a range of IT issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
• Document IT procedures, solutions, and configurations for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and network infrastructure.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools and remote support software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are highly desirable.
