IT Support Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and proactive IT Support Technician to join their established team in Liverpool . You will be responsible for providing essential technical support to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as assisting with IT setup and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving, contributing to a reliable IT environment that supports the company's business objectives, all while working within a collaborative office setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software across the organization.
• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist with network troubleshooting and user account management.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Support and train end-users on IT best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with network principles and Active Directory .
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment in Liverpool .
