It Systems Engineer

12 Month Contract – Potential to turn Permanent

IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer required to join an established in house IT team within a Global Engineering business operating across industrial contracting, service and project environments that support customers across the food & beverage, manufacturing, process and nuclear sectors.

This is a broad, varied and hands on IT Infrastructure role supporting the day to day operation, monitoring and maintaining security and performance of the company’s IT systems across multiple UK locations.

You’ll be tasked with supporting and administering the company’s Microsoft Azure/ Entra environments, Microsoft 365, Intune and the company’s wider server and IT infrastructure.

The position would suit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Engineer who enjoys a varied technical role and is comfortable working across Azure, Entra/Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, servers, networking and cyber security, rather than specialising in just one area.

Experience Desired:

• Strong working knowledge of Azure, Entra/Active Directory, Microsoft 365etc.

• Hands on experience working with Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, on premise and cloud infrastructure, plus DNS, GPO etc.

• Experience managing company devices, software deployment, mobile communications and ideally Microsoft Intune.

• Good knowledge of switching, routing, Wi-Fi, network monitoring, VoIP, network security and cyber security practices.

• Experience of ERP systems, ideally IFS Cloud, plus Cyber Essentials/ISO27001
