About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and imaginative Junior Animator to join their dedicated team in Portsmouth . Under the guidance of experienced animators, you will learn and apply industry-standard techniques in 2D or 3D animation, depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality animations for characters, objects, or visual effects according to project requirements and art direction.
• Collaborate with senior animators and art directors to ensure animations are technically sound and aesthetically pleasing.
• Assist in the rigging and skinning process for 3D characters or assets, if applicable.
• Learn and implement animation principles, including timing, spacing, and weight.
• Maintain organized animation files and adhere to studio pipelines and workflows.
• Participate in animation critiques and apply feedback constructively.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing fundamental animation skills, preferably with examples in 2D or 3D animation.
• Familiarity with animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Maya, or Blender.
• A solid understanding of animation principles and storytelling.
• Eagerness to learn, a strong work ethic, and a passion for animation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an office setting in Portsmouth .
