About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Architectural Assistant to join their practice in Sheffield . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or individual with initial experience in architecture to develop their skills within a supportive team environment. You will assist senior architects and technologists in the production of architectural drawings, models, and documentation for a range of projects. This role offers invaluable hands-on experience and the chance to grow your career in architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and presentations using CAD software and BIM tools.
• Support the production of planning applications and building regulation documentation.
• Undertake site visits to assist with surveys and record existing conditions.
• Help in the coordination of design information with consultants and contractors.
• Organize and maintain project files and documentation.
• Learn and apply company design standards and best practices.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
• Basic knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• A keen interest in pursuing a career in architecture.
• Strong desire to learn and develop technical and design skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
