Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the sourcing and selection of suppliers for various goods and services.
• Process purchase orders and manage supplier communications to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support the negotiation of favorable terms and pricing with suppliers under guidance.
• Maintain an organized database of supplier information, pricing, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and resolve supply-related queries.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvement within the purchasing function.

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Enthusiasm and a keen interest in developing a career in purchasing and procurement.
• Basic understanding of procurement principles and processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities, comfortable interacting with suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data management.
