About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Buyer to join their busy purchasing team, working remotely from Southampton . You will work under the guidance of experienced buyers, assisting with daily operational tasks, supplier communication, and order processing. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the processing of purchase requisitions and the creation of purchase orders.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier interactions.
• Support senior buyers in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining quotations.
• Help resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or invoices.
• Contribute to maintaining an organized and up-to-date procurement database.

Requirements

• A keen interest in a career within purchasing or procurement .
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for remote interaction.
