About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Junior Buyer to join their purchasing team. You will support the team in daily purchasing activities, including order placement, supplier communication, and data management. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing purchase requisitions and placing orders with approved suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery dates, and resolve basic queries.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information in the system.
- Support senior buyers with market research and gathering quotations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any stock discrepancies.
- Learn and apply company policies and procedures related to purchasing .
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is advantageous.
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in procurement or supply chain management.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
