About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Chemical Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in chemical process design, analysis, and optimization. You will work closely with senior engineers, contributing to various projects and learning essential industry practices. The role demands strong analytical skills and effective communication, all conducted within a supportive remote work environment that fosters professional growth and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the design and development of chemical processes.
- Perform process calculations, including mass and energy balances, and equipment sizing.
- Conduct literature reviews and data analysis to support process improvement initiatives.
- Help prepare technical reports, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
- Participate in process safety reviews and hazard identification exercises.
- Monitor and analyze process data for troubleshooting and performance evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Strong academic record and a foundational understanding of chemical engineering principles.
- Proficiency with standard office software and an aptitude for learning engineering software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
